This weekend I headed down to Columbia Road Market to do an engagement shoot with a lovely couple, Francesca, Iain and their little boy, Pablo. My fabulous make-up artist friend, Lauren Dunn gave Francesca a lovely Autumnal make-up look, berry lips and fresh looking skin. We started early to catch the warm morning light and grabbed a couple of shots in Campania coffee shop where we waited for Ian and Pablo to arrive.
Francesca and Ian used to live just round the corner in their first flat together and spent many a Sunday morning hanging out around Columbia Road Flower Market. They really wanted to do an engagement shoot in an area that had special memories for them and they were looking for a soft, relaxed feel to their photos. They were a really easy going couple to work with so I could concentrate on the surroundings that I knew were really important to them. Francesca has decided to use one of the engagement pictures as their family Christmas card this year and possibly their save the date cards. I’m really pleased with the natural, seasonal feel to the shots and can’t wait for their Autumnal wedding next year.
